I haven’t seen this trailer in years. I finally came back to it because of the Switch 2 direct tomorrow. I watched this trailer on constant repeat in 2017 and I thought it was one of the coolest things ever! In a way, it still is. I look forward to seeing the future of Nintendo and hoping that the next generation of gamers will look back in this masterpiece and feel the same emotions that we all did when we saw this for the first time! 😊😊😊😁😁😁

Here we are. A week away from the Switch 2 Direct. The start of a new gaming generation, yet I find myself to keep coming back to this trailer. This trailer that came out when Nintendo was at it's lowest point, a far cry from where they are now, a trailer that came out before the system's release, and yet, this trailer feels like the swan-song of the Switch. A call to a truly legendary adventure that is about to end, and a new one about to begin. Ride on into the sunset, Nintendo Switch. Ride on.

I own Tears of the Kingdom, but I can't bring myself to play it as I don't feel like I've completed BotW, even though I completed the main story and have over 500 hours in it. I started TotK, and wasn't captured by the Zonai mechanics at all. If I get in a switch Zelda mood, i'm going to BotW every time. There might be a new Zelda for switch 2 before I get around to TotK.

Ocarina Of Time was the first game i ever played and beaten. I never thought I'd play this game though. I waited five years after its release to play it and boy did i miss out. I now have 300 hours in Tears Of The Kingdom and I lray Nintendo releases more Zelda games yaing Breath Of The Wilds map.

The third of March 2025. This & the switch released eight years ago today. Through remakes, a sequel & even an upcoming movie being announced, this trailer remains the most hype moment in this fandom. That other guy was right to keep coming back just to feel. It feels 8 lifetimes ago with everything that’s happened. The switch 2 comes out in a month & I just want to say, PLEASE RELEASE UPGRADED VERSIONS OF THIS & TOTK WITH A HUGE DISCOUNT FOR US WHO’VE BOUGHT THEM!! I've finished BotW at 21.03.2025 with my 7 & 6 yo and that's one of our peak core memories. That was our first ever console and first ever game. We got hooked into shared couch gaming, into story, into everything. We laughed at Korks saying ouch when you drop stone on their heads, we cried on memories telling our story of Zelda failure, we cheered after defeting Ganons incarnations.
Now I'm getting Zelda on pictures, I hear how they fight imagine Ganon, how they cook shrooms in Barbie pots, how them mumble main theme. We listen to OST at car travels, we bought Link plushes, we are awaiting for Nintendo conference and announcement of some new franchise entry. Mant thanks Nintendo for creating such awesome canvas for flourishing creativity
